This 1985 Caravan, the fourth built, may have been initially registered as N9229F, but was soon registered to Cessna Aircraft on March 17, 1985 as N208CC and used as a factory demonstrator. After demonstration flights in the US, Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan, it arrived in Australia. The Caravan was noted at Bankstown Airport (BWU/YSBK), New South Wales, Australia on July 3, 1985 and at Karratha Airport (KTA/YKPA), Western Australia, Australia on September 5, 1985, by which time it had accumulated some 400 hours. Apparently staying in Australia, the Caravan appeared on that country's register as VH-JEE with Rex Aviation, being seen wearing this registration at the Bankstown Airport on April 15, 1986. It seems that VH-JEE was returned to the US, potentially appearing initially with its prior number, N208CC, and then being registered as N208CL to Western Aircraft Maintenance in March 1989. Two months later it was sporting a Swiss registration, HB-CLI, and was registered to Zimex Aviation on May 4, 1989. The registration was canceled three years later on May 7, 1992. The same month it was registered to Falcon Air Charter as 5Y-MAK. On November 11, 1993, Cessna 208 5Y-MAK operated by Falcon Air Charter was involved in an accident at arRuat, White Nile, Sudan. There were no fatalities. It was subsequently operated under the same registration by Aircraft Leasing Services (ALS) before being registered as 5H-MUR in September 2001 to Regional Air Services. The Caravan returned to the Kenyan register by 2010, being seen at the Wilson Airport (WIL/HKNW), Kenya on October 7th of that year, operated by Safarilink Aviation. ALS Limited of Tanzania registered the Caravan as 5H-FLL on July 23, 2012, and it was seen at the Dar Es Salaam Airport (DAR/HTDA), Tanzania, on October 17th of the following year. After more than two and a half decades, Caravan 20800004 returned to the US, receiving its new airworthiness certificate on October 19, 2016. On September 13, 2019, it was registered to ISR Aviation of Wilmington, Delaware as N104JF, a registration it carries to this day.
