You have arrived at a site dedicated to the Cessna Caravan...(if you hadn't noticed!)

My name is Derek Linder, webmaster and curator of, and you have arrived in my little corner of the World Wide Web! I created this site to help preserve the ongoing history of the Cessna Caravan, one of my all-time favorite aircraft. At the risk of resurrecting website vernacular of yesteryear, this site will be perpetually "under construction", minus the animated GIF's proclaiming it to be so. (That being said, I'm sure I could be prevailed upon to insert one or two should anyone show any interest...anyone?...anyone?...Bueller?)

Whether you are an owner, pilot, maintainer, or enthusiast, I hope you enjoy the content presented here. Feel free to contact me and let me know about your passion for the Caravan, share a story, or ask a question. Is there information that isn't correct or typographical errors in the data? Please let me know. If you have a Caravan photo you'd like to see on this site, those are welcome too! Now, with all the pleasantries out of the way and without further ado, (ideally accompanied by a freshly-brewed cup of coffee), I give you"a Cessna Caravan site"

This content on is divided into the following pages:

the main landing page for and where you currently are!

The Caravan
general Caravan information such as names, designations, dimensions, conversions, and a timeline

a listing of known Caravan operators, both past and present

the bread and butter of this site, a growing list of individual Caravan history by airframe

News & Updates
blog-style entries from your webmaster (that's me!) covering (as you probably surmised) Caravan news, site updates and sundry other thoughts from my mind to yours

a list of links to websites about the Caravan, sites of those that have swapped links with, research resources, and books on the Caravan

yet another self-explanatory page with information about the site and about your webmaster (me again!)
